StudioCRM Support
Client, appointment and project management for any business that works with clients.
FAQs
- Where is my data stored? On your device, and in your own private iCloud account
so it stays in sync across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It is stored in Apple's private CloudKit
database tied to your Apple Account. We have no servers, no access to your data, and we never
receive a copy of it.
- What if I don't use iCloud? StudioCRM still works. If iCloud is unavailable or turned
off, the app runs against a local database on that device and simply doesn't sync.
- How do automations work? You create rules that trigger a set number of days before or
after an appointment date. When a rule fires, StudioCRM surfaces a follow-up task and pre-fills an email
draft from the message template you wrote, with the client's name filled in. You review and send it
yourself — nothing is sent automatically.
- Does it require a subscription? No. StudioCRM is a one-time purchase with no
subscriptions, no ads, and no usage limits.
- Why does it ask for Photos and Reminders access? Photos access lets you import photos and images
into your galleries. Reminders access lets StudioCRM create client
follow-ups in Apple Reminders. Both are optional — decline either and the rest of the app works
normally.
- What do the Apple Intelligence features need? iOS or iPadOS 26 / macOS 26 or later,
a device that supports Apple Intelligence, and Apple Intelligence turned on in system Settings.
Everything is processed on your device. If it is unavailable the rest of the app works normally,
and you can switch the features off in Settings › Apple Intelligence.
- Can I use Siri and Shortcuts? Yes: add a client, add a note to a client, hear your
upcoming appointments, open a client, or create a client from an inquiry. Find them in the Shortcuts app.
- Can I export my data? Yes: Settings › Export Clients as CSV.
