StudioCRM does not collect your data. We operate no servers, we have no accounts to sign up for, and we have no analytics, tracking, or advertising in the app. Everything you enter stays on your device and in your own private iCloud account, which we cannot access.
StudioCRM stores the information you enter into it, which may include:
This information is written to a database on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud and have iCloud Drive enabled, it also syncs through Apple's CloudKit service to the private database associated with your Apple Account, so it stays consistent across your iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
A private CloudKit database is accessible only to you. The developer of StudioCRM cannot read, query, or retrieve it. Apple's handling of that data is governed by the Apple Privacy Policy.
If iCloud is unavailable or turned off, StudioCRM falls back to a local-only database on that device and does not sync.
StudioCRM asks for these permissions only when you use the feature that needs them. All are optional and the rest of the app works if you decline:
StudioCRM also uses Apple Maps to let you search for and display client and appointment locations. Location searches are handled by Apple's MapKit service and are subject to Apple's privacy policy. StudioCRM does not request access to your device's location.
StudioCRM can use Apple Intelligence, on supported devices, to write messages, summarize a client's record, read details from a message you paste or a screenshot you choose, and suggest follow-ups. This runs on your device using Apple's on-device language model. The text is not sent to us or to any third-party service. Reading text out of a screenshot also happens on your device. You can turn these features off in Settings › Apple Intelligence.
“Fill from Contacts” opens Apple's own contact picker; StudioCRM receives only the single contact you choose and has no access to your address book. “Add to Calendar” opens Apple's event editor pre-filled with the appointment details; StudioCRM does not read your calendar. So you can find clients from Spotlight, Siri and Shortcuts, StudioCRM adds client names and basic details to your device's search index. That index stays on your device and can be turned off in Settings › Show Clients in Search. You can export your clients to a spreadsheet (CSV) from Settings; the file is saved where you choose.
StudioCRM registers for silent push notifications solely so Apple's CloudKit service can tell the app when your own data has changed on another one of your devices. These notifications carry no marketing content and are not used to message you.
StudioCRM is a business tool intended for adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Because your data lives on your device and in your own iCloud account, you control it directly. Deleting a record in the app removes it. Deleting the app removes its local database. You can remove synced data at any time in Settings › your name › iCloud › Manage Account Storage. We cannot delete your data on your behalf, because we never have it.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
