The full game

What's free, and what does the full game include?

Federation X Wrestling is free to play, and one purchase, Unlock Full Game, unlocks everything else. There are no ads and no other purchases.

  • Free: Exhibition matches (singles or tag team) with THE JACKAL, CHUPA CABRA, ARCHANGEL LaBOE and DOUBLE B; Quick Match with those four on standard rules; Online, where you pick from those four; and the Training Ring. Anything marked FULL GAME in the game opens the Unlock Full Game screen.
  • The full game adds: the Main Event, the Battle Royal, 27 more wrestlers, and every match rule: falls, time limits, disqualifications, count-outs, submissions, rope breaks and ringside.
  • More match types: Handicap, Fatal Four-Way, Tornado Tag and Elimination Tag; Falls Count Anywhere, Iron Man, Last Man Standing and singles Steel Cage rules.
  • More ways to play: CPU vs CPU and two-player local singles, versus tag, co-op tag and Battle Royal.

The price is shown in the game and on the App Store, in your local currency.

I bought the full game. How do I get it on my other devices? (Restore Purchases)

One purchase unlocks the full game on every iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV signed in to the same Apple Account. It usually unlocks by itself. If it doesn't:

  1. Make sure the device is signed in to the App Store with the Apple Account you bought with.
  2. In the game, open Settings, turn to the Purchase & iCloud page and choose Restore Purchases. It's also on the Unlock Full Game screen.

Restoring is free. You'll never be charged twice for the full game.

Can my family use my purchase?

Check the full game purchase on the App Store for Family Sharing availability. Apple manages sharing with your family group.

I can't buy the full game.

Purchases can be turned off on a device by Screen Time (Content & Privacy Restrictions), or need a parent's approval through Ask to Buy. If the purchase is waiting for approval, the game unlocks as soon as it's approved. The purchase is handled entirely by Apple; for billing questions or refunds, use reportaproblem.apple.com.

Playing

What controls can I use?
  • Touch (iPhone and iPad): an on-screen stick and buttons. Settings has button size, stick dead zone and a left-handed layout.
  • Game controllers: MFi, Xbox and PlayStation controllers on every device. Change the buttons in Settings ▸ Controller Buttons.
  • Keyboard (Mac, or an iPad with a keyboard): move with WASD or the arrow keys. Punch J/Z, kick K/X, grab L/C/Space, block U/B, finisher I/N, taunt O/M, tag ;/V, pause Esc/P.

How to Play on the game's menu lists every control for the device you're holding. The pause menu has each wrestler's move list.

Can I play on Apple TV with just the Siri Remote?

Yes. A game controller gives you the most control, but the whole game can be played with the Siri Remote.

  • Move with the touch surface.
  • Click to punch at range, or to grab up close. With a full special bar, a click up close throws your finisher.
  • Press Play/Pause to kick. Hold it to block.
  • Double-click with nobody in reach to taunt.
  • Walk to your corner to tag your partner.
  • Press Back (or Menu) to pause.
Can two people play on one device?

Yes, with the full game. Choose 2 Players from the menu, then singles versus, versus tag, co-op tag or Battle Royal. With two controllers, player 2 presses A on their controller when prompted, then both players pick their wrestlers.

You can also use a keyboard plus a controller, or share one keyboard. With a shared keyboard, player 1 uses WASD and Z X C V B N M; player 2 uses the arrows and J K L ; U I O. Touch controls or the Siri Remote alone cannot host a second player.

Local matches use player 1's save; player 2 does not get a separate career on that device.

How do I unlock the champions?

Win the Main Event: pick a tag team, climb six matches, then beat the champions in the title match. The champions then become playable everywhere. They're earned by play and can't be bought. The Main Event is part of the full game.

A run saves between matches, and Continue on the menu picks it up again. You have three continues per run. Easy difficulty (Settings ▸ Difficulty) makes the climb gentler.

How do I play online?

Online is a one-on-one match through Apple's Game Center, against a friend or anyone searching. It's free.

  • Both players need to be signed in to Game Center (the Settings app ▸ Game Center on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV; System Settings ▸ Game Center on Mac).
  • Both players need the same version of the game. If the game says your versions differ, update both from the App Store.
  • If Online says it's turned off, check Screen Time ▸ Content & Privacy Restrictions ▸ Game Center on that device.
  • Online matches can't be paused. Leaving ends the match for both players.
Does my progress sync between devices?

Progress is kept on each device. This version does not sync progress between devices through iCloud. Restoring your purchase unlocks the full game; it does not transfer your progress.

On Apple TV, each person who uses the Apple TV has their own separate progress.

How do I erase my progress and start over?

In the game, open Settings ▸ Erase Progress and press it a second time to confirm. This erases your records, the unlocked champions and any Main Event run in progress. Your Game Center achievements stay, and your purchase isn't affected. You can't erase during a match.

The game flashes. Can I turn that off?

Yes. Settings ▸ Accessibility has Flashing Effects, Screen Motion, high-contrast markers, text size and Hold to Mash (holding a button instead of rapid pressing).

Do I need an internet connection?

No, except for Online matches and buying the full game. Everything else plays offline.
